About Us
Hub Community Project is situated in Wymondham, a market town nine miles south of Norwich. With a population of over 16,335 it is a fast growing community and the increase in the population due to the housing development programmes have resulted in the local services e.g. health centres, schools and local facilities becoming overstretched.
There are pockets of real social and economic deprivation and unemployment, low incomes, debt and disengaged young people are all issues for this area. This is still a fairly rural area and people can suffer from social exclusion and isolation. There is also a high percentage of elderly people living in the area.
Hub Community Project aims to build a strong and resilient community where everyone is valued, cared for and included. It provides the settings and opportunities for people to be empowered and to grow in relationships and skills. It provides much needed resources and equipping for those in the community who need assistance, enabling people to build strong foundations for their future.
Hub Community Project aims to improve the quality of life for people living in the community by:
- Initiating and delivering a range of activities for all;
- Promoting and championing family values.
Our Volunteers
Where appropriate our volunteers are DBS checked.
Also present at each session are people holding a first aid certificate and a food hygiene certificate.
Our Premises
Our premises at The Hub in Wymondham provide an ideal setting for our activities.
Located not far from the town centre, the building is easily accessible, has facilities for the disabled and ample free parking.
Funding and Sponsorship
Hub Community Project would not be able to carry out and deliver excellent services and activities to the community without its network of 50+ volunteers who give of their time, expertise and experience so generously.
We are also very thankful to all the organisations that have sponsored and funded our activities.

Hub Community Project is an incorporated charity and is therefore run in accordance with the rules and regulations laid down by the Charity Commission and The Registrar of Companies.
